Disney has postponed the release date of Mulan, including two popular movies

The COVID-19 plague changed everything in the world. Not just the way people live their lives but also the things they do. It changed what was already planned. For movie lovers, the cinemas were closed due to the epidemic and they were not allowed to see the films on the scheduled date. Now, their much-anticipated film has been postponed.

Mulan will run from March 27 to July 24. It was repeatedly postponed from July 24 to August 21. Walt Disney has announced on July 23 that it has postponed the release date of Mulan from August 21 indefinitely. Due to the closure of many cinemas, the release date of Mulan has been postponed several times.

Disney has also said that the sequel to the successful Avatar and Star Wars movies will be postponed for a year because the Corona virus disrupted production. The Avatar sequel is set to release in December 2022, and Star Wars is set to release in December 2023.

“In this global health situation, we are not sure how we can make a film. I would like to say that we will pause the release of Mulan today to decide how we can bring this film to the worldwide audience most effectively. A Disney spokesman said:

The announcement comes after Warner Bros. decided to postpone the release date of Tenet to August. Avatar, the second highest-grossing film of all time, was postponed before the Coronavirus outbreak.
